Nomination Procedure

Deadline: Heritage BC Awards nominations must be received by

March 1.

Submitting Complete Nominations

It's a good idea to prepare all your details and images prior to beginning the online Nomination Form – details will not 'saved' until you click SUBMIT at the end.

Please use the Nomination Form to enter your Project Name, Award Category, all contact information plus a brief description (max 500 words). Up to three nominees per project may be named.

IMPORTANT: Please review that your nomination is complete before clicking SUBMIT. Larger files may take longer – so please click the submit button only once and be patient. You will receive an auto message when your upload has been successful. When the nomination has been processed and reviewed, you will receive a second email confirmation in 2-3 days, with a link so you can review your submission, print for your records, or forward to others.

Images & Support Materials

Nominations may be supported with up to 10 digital files. High resolution JPG images are preferred for possible print reproduction. PDF documents or scanned images of letters, news clippings or other materials may also be uploaded. Maximum file size is 2 MB each.

Please use the PROJECT NAME for every image file. Name the file with no spaces or unusual characters (underscore may be used). Example:  ProjectName_exterior_before.jpg

To upload images, click the BROWSE button and find the file on your computer that you wish to send – repeat for each file. Please provide captions for images with the general description. Larger images will take time to upload, so please be patient

Nominations submitted to Heritage BC by email or post will also be accepted. Please organize all nomination information as outlined by the online form. Materials from successful submissions will be retained for publicity purposes. (Additional support materials may be requested if the nomination is successful.)

Please note that the number of nominations that may be submitted by any singe nominator is now limited to two.

Nominators who submit incomplete nominations will be contacted once. Incomplete nominations will not be considered by the jury.
