Join Heritage BC in its urgent campaign to renew what was once widely regarded as one of the best heritage programs in Canada.

A revitalized heritage program will be a sound investment, a boon to the tourism industry, and a commitment to a sustainable future. Most importantly, it will fulfill the pact with the people of British Columbia to protect, conserve and honour our irreplaceable heritage.

What can you do?

1. Write Letters of Support

Here is a sample letter which you and your organization can adapt to send to the Premier, the Minister of Tourism, Trade and Investment and other MLA's.

2. Spread the Word

Pass on a copy of the full proposal "A Call to Renew". Give a powerpoint presentation to your group or organization. The Heritage Society of B.C. is a member-based organization whose members represent the interests of community heritage conservation from all parts of the province. Our modest membership dues account for only a small portion of our annual budget, but play a significant role in securing other funding.

The Heritage Legacy Fund is clearly meeting a need for heritage grant programs...and the need for support is growing! HLF has stepped in to replace the financial support to Heritage BC cut by the provincial government. In the longer term, it must build its endowment.
